The Professional Photographers of Hawaii (PPH) is currently looking to increase it's enrollment and you are invited to join. The PPH is an outstanding organization full of local photographers just like you. The goal of the PPH is to promote friendly relationships among photographers in order to encourage the interchange of thought and creativity between members and to help enhance your own photographs. We also work to educate our members on violations and infringements of the rights of professional photographers and their organizations and how to maintain professional standards within their business.
Our monthly meetings are held at various locations. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker or a demonstration, which will consist of either information on photo related topics that may inspire you and stir your creativity or on business related topics that will help to strengthen your business as a whole. The lectures or demonstrations are a must for any serious photographer.
We also hold many print competitions throughout the year. For more information on print competition please contact us or "Studio 3" at (808) 591-9044. Print judging displays the standards recommended to our members. Our photographic sponsors award prizes to a variety of categories for the highest scoring prints.
